Sherri Samuels-Fuerst is the VP – Total Rewards at Sargento Foods Inc. in Plymouth, WI. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a Masters in Industrial and Labor Relations. She is a Registered Nurse and also is currently certified as a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist through the International Foundation of Employee Benefits, as well as a Professional in Human Resources through SHRM. In her 25+ years in Human Resources, Sherri has held a variety of roles within HR from Occupational Health Nurse to HR Generalist role. In 2001 she transitioned into a specialist position within Compensation and Employee Benefits, where she could more fully utilize her medical background. Sherri is a current Board of Director Member for the Midwest Business Group on Health (MBGH) and also serves on the National Purchaser Leadership Council of the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions. She shares her passion for Employee Health and Wellness whenever she can through her work with many local community committees and coalitions and is a frequent national presenter on the topic.
