MedSavvy is an online service lead by a team of licensed pharmacists, keeping members in-the-know about the effectiveness, safety, and cost of their medications, so they can make informed treatment decisions for themselves and loved ones. MedSavvy pharmacists evaluate scientific evidence to assign medications a letter grade for their effectiveness and safety in treating a specific condition (i.e. A, B, C, D…). They also provide cost information based on health plan benefits, for easy side-by-side comparison of treatment options. Their pharmacists keep an eye on a member’s medications and proactively alert them of relevant safety concerns, recalls, or opportunities to save money on an equally or more effective treatment.
