Tammy Fennessy has her Professional in Human Resources certification through the HR Certification Institute, Group Benefits Associate designation through the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists and is currently serving her third term as the Chair of the Employer Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health. As the Director of Benefits for American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. she is responsible for managing employee benefit programs internationally and for all 50 states in the US, for all AEO brands. During her 14-year career managing benefits, key initiatives have included, but are not limited to: leveraging technology and analytics; persistent process improvement; implementing robust programs to improve AEO’s populations’ overall healthcare experience and outcomes; driving down cost and waste in the healthcare ecosystem; and implementing innovative methods in the spirit of democratizing health care. Tammy is also currently pursuing a Master of Applied Science degree in Population Health Management through Johns Hopkins University.
