Maria Scheeler began her adult working career with the Funds over 30 years ago in the Pension Funds’ Processing Department. Her talents were quickly realized, and she rose to fill the position of the assistant pension manager, and later Pension Manager. In 2005, Maria assumed the role of Member Services Manager coordinating member service efforts for both the Pension and Health & Welfare Funds, eventually being promoted to director of operations. In 2017, Maria became the Funds executive director/administrator. Keeping her finger on the pulse of innovation when it comes to health plan design, Maria constantly seeks out programs and services that go above and beyond and is committed to providing and maintaining quality benefits in a cost-efficient manner.
