There is a large fireworks show on Monday, June 27, that will slow travel plans. Allow extra time getting to and from the airport. If arriving on Monday before 5 p.m., you can be dropped off close to the hotel. If arriving or departing after 5 p.m. you will encounter road closures. Ask your driver to drop/pick up at Campus Martius Park,  an 11-minute walk to or from the hotel.
