Rich Cimino graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1994. He served for 21 years as an Air Force Intelligence Officer and retired in 2015. He was elected to serve as County Commissioner for Grand County Colorado in 2016, and that is when he became involved in Healthcare. He was appointed by Governor Polis to serve on Colorado’s Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise Board, which allocates approximately $500 million annually to make health insurance more affordable on the individual marketplace. Rich became the executive director of the Peak Health Alliance in 2024.
