Michele has 20+ years of experience in employee benefits and health plan management for public and private sector employers ranging in size from 3,000 to 100,000 employees. Past roles include managing programs and departments for a public sector health plan in Washington state covering 240,000 lives including communications, appeals, and wellness. She later served as benefits strategist for the Washington State Public Employees Benefits Program. Prior to working in employee benefits, Michele served as Public Information Officer for the Health Policy Analysis Program at the University of Washington School of Public Health while earning her master’s degree in public administration from the UW Evans School of Public Policy and Governance.
