More than 40% of U.S. adults now live with obesity, and high-cost obesity drugs are straining employer benefit budgets. Findings from the PCORI-funded Louisiana Trial to Reduce Obesity in Primary Care show that health coach-led intensive lifestyle intervention produced greater weight loss than usual care in a hard-to-reach population. This panel shares a holistic approach to addressing obesity in the workforce.
