Daniel Stein, MD, MBA, is CEO and Co-Founder of Embold Health. His rich background in health care spans the public and private sector. Most recently, Daniel co-founded and served as chief medical officer for Walmart’s primary care clinic business, Walmart Care Clinics. Prior to that, he worked on the health staff of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee and for CMS. Daniel received his bachelor’s degree in Ethics, Politics and Economics from Yale College; his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine; and his master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School. He completed his residency in primary care internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he was honored with the John H. McArthur Fellowship in Medicine and Management.
