Dr. Kulleni Gebreyes is a Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She is a physician leader with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry across the commercial and public sector. During this time, she has helped organizations drive care delivery transformation through financially sustainable strategies for value-based care, clinical optimization, and asset rationalization. She also has expertise in physician engagement and education, adoption and implementation of HIT, quality and performance improvement, and compliance/assurance. Kulleni has dedicated much of her time to addressing healthcare disparities and social determinants of health with executives and leaders of health plans, providers, patient advocacy groups, and government leaders. This includes working with healthcare organizations on improving health outcomes for populations with health disparities by implementing powerful partnerships and sustainable business models. Kulleni completed her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital System and is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She received her MD from Harvard Medical School, MBA from Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins, and BA in Biology from Princeton University. Additionally, Kulleni holds a Six Sigma Green belt. Prior to moving to Charlotte, Kulleni was on the medical faculty for Georgetown University Medical Center and George Washington University Medical Center.
