Sayeh Nikpay is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and the Vice Chair of the Minnesota Prescription Drug Affordability Board. She studies efficiency and targeting of Federal and state subsidies to support the health care safety net including Medicaid, Disproportionate Share Hospital payments, and the 340B Drug Pricing Program. She has worked with Federal, state, and local policymakers on issues related to reform of the 340B program. She was a Staff Economist at the Council Economic Advisers in 2010-2011 and received her PhD from the University of Michigan.
