Una Lee serves as Chief Counsel of the Health Subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee under Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr., where she most recently oversaw drafting and passage of landmark legislation granting the Secretary of Health and Human Services authority to negotiate prescription drug prices in Medicare. Previously, she served as Senior Counsel for Ranking Member Pallone, handling legislation on the private insurance market, including the Affordable Care Act, and Medicare.

Prior to joining the Committee staff, she served as Chief Health Counsel for House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Ranking Member Elijah E. Cummings. She also worked as a Trial Attorney in the Department of Justice Civil Fraud Section, prosecuting healthcare fraud qui tam cases on behalf of the United States, and clerked for Judge Timothy B. Dyk of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
