For over 20 years, Kathryn’s professional focus has been creating competitive advantage for businesses through their health benefit offering. As Director of Member Services & Innovation at The Alliance in Wisconsin, Kathryn also works on moving health care forward through offerings that reduce health care costs, improve quality and engage people in their health and health care decisions. A current example of these efforts is her leadership in creating shared-site clinics to offer advanced primary care to Alliance employers and other businesses in a community. She believes that not only will these save employers money and provide better care for employees, but that it is the kind of care that people deserve. Kathryn’s professional career has spanned sales, marketing, and product development at member-owned health insurance companies, provider-owned health insurance companies, and a stint in economic development. She earned her Executive MBA at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She lives with her husband, son, and 3 stepsons in Madison, Wisconsin, sometimes referred to as “77 square miles surrounded by reality”.
