Dan Burke serves as the Director of Corporate Benefits for Turner Industries Group, LLC. In that role Mr. Burke is responsible for long term strategic design of the company’s total rewards program in addition to overseeing employee benefits operations for Turner Industries and its 18,000 employees nationwide.
Previously Dan managed employee benefit programs for Raymond James Financial, and served on the executive committee responsible for establishing global human capital strategies for the firm. Dan has also worked with Parsons Corporation and TeamStaff Companies with a primary focus on managing self-funded welfare plans.
In today’s health care environment, Dan’s focus has been finding innovative solutions to help manage the cost and improve the quality of care delivered nationally. This has involved partnering with healthcare providers to build outcome-based chronic disease intervention programs and establishing mutually beneficial relationships to bridge the gap between the past and future of health care.
Starting in January 2021 Dan chairs the Houston Business Coalition on Health, whose mission is to achieve the triple-aim (improved quality, lower cost, better patient experience) via employer-led collective influence. He serves on the board for the Louisiana Health Care Quality forum and Taking Aim at Cancer in Louisiana, a collaborative of providers, payers, state government and self-insured employers working to improve cancer outcomes within the state. Dan also chairs the Turner Industries Group Investment Committee and is a member of the client advisory boards for several insurers.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from George Mason University and is SPHR and SHRM – SCP certified. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife and two children.
