Dan Hoffman began focusing on innovation and technology in the late nineties as Director of Innovation at Bozell Worldwide. He soon moved into healthcare tech becoming the global interactive lead for Aventis Pharmaceuticals where he was instrumental in building and then selling MyDocOnline (the first web site focused on enhancing communication between physicians and patients) to Zix Corporation. Hoffman was the CEO and co-founder of MedCafe LLC which was sold to Epocrates in 2011 (NYSE: EPOC) and subsequently Athena Health (NASDAQ:ATHN). Post acquisition, he assumed the role of SVP, Product Innovation at Epocrates. He then spent two years as interim CEO at Bock Centers LLC (medical research centers for children). Hoffman also founded and sold ConnectMeMore LLC that had the mission to simplify technology and enable the elderly the ability to easily connect to healthcare and social engagement. Dan is currently Head of Digital Commercialization at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals. He has also been issued two patents outside of healthcare that have both been commercialized.
