Shayna Mancuso, D.O., FACOG is a Board-Certified OB/GYN and Medical Director in Women’s Health at Astellas Pharma. She has been with Astellas for 2 years, and prior to that she served as Medical Director of Women’s Health at Abbvie. Dr. Mancuso continues to see gynecologic patients in an innovative, multi-specialty practice in downtown Chicago which she established and served as Medical Director. She attended Medical School at Western University of Health Sciences and completed her residency in 2004 at University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas. Following her post-doctoral training, Dr. Mancuso practiced full-scope OB/Gyn at several academic institutions in Chicago including Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She has also served as teaching faculty at University of Chicago School of Medicine, Midwestern University, and Northwestern Feinberg University School of Medicine where she participated in the training of OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, and Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students Dr. Mancuso also serves on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) Steering Committee for the Innovation Equity Forum. She lives on the NorthShore of Chicago with her husband and 3 daughters
