Kimberly Westrich, MA, is the chief strategy officer at the National Pharmaceutical Council (NPC), where she guides research and communication on health policy issues related to innovative biopharmaceuticals. Her work supports discussions about patient access, appropriate use, and the value of treatments in the healthcare system. Ms. Westrich leads key research initiatives, including those on employer-sponsored insurance, and has published extensively on value assessment frameworks, patient-centered formulary design, value-based contracts, and accountable care organizations.

Since joining NPC in 2000, Ms. Westrich has held roles including Director of Research at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), healthcare consultant at The Lewin Group and Xcenda, and health economics researcher at Johnson & Johnson. She holds a master's degree in economics from Northwestern University and an undergraduate degree in economics and mathematics from the College of William and Mary.

In addition to her professional work, Ms. Westrich is a certified yoga teacher and life coach, passionate about helping others learn and thrive.
