Jeffrey Townsend has 21 years of experience in healthcare. Having spent his whole career at HCTN (formerly HC21), he has been a part of the many innovations in which HCTN has participated or developed. During his time at HCTN he managed a transparent PBM contracting program, the data warehousing and analytics program, contributed the College for Value Based Healthcare, led various workshops and workgroups, including Specialty Rx, and healthcare fiduciaries. He developed successful programs to engage healthcare vendors while serving employer/plan sponsors, like, PBM Speed Dating. He currently supports the leadership of HCTN in developing program strategy. He also contributes or manages much of the education and projects for HCTN, including; Rx/PBM, State and Federal Policy alerts, high-cost claims, fiduciary training, and Social Determinants of Health (SDoH).
