Nilay Shah is Managing Director in Global Health and Wellbeing at Delta Air Lines and leads Health Analytics, Innovation and Global Benefits. Prior to Delta Air Lines, he was the Chair of the Division of Health Care Delivery Research at Mayo Clinic and a Professor of Health Services Research in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He was also the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern endowed Director for Research in the Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Shah was previously co-PI of the FDA-funded Yale-Mayo Clinic Center for Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSI). He has been a recipient of multiple federally funded grants (from AHRQ, FDA, NIH, CMMI, and NSF) and has published over 450 peer-reviewed publications.
