Speaker Bio
Danielle Poole is a WomenHeart Champion, community leader, and passionate advocate for women’s heart health. A North Carolina native and heart disease survivor, Danielle's journey began in 2022 when she experienced a life-altering heart attack. Following her diagnosis, she embarked on a transformative path through cardiac rehab, where she discovered the importance of peer support, education, and advocacy in healing. In 2023,
Danielle was selected to attend the prestigious WomenHeart Science & Leadership Symposium at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. There, she became a WomenHeart Champion, joining a network of women across the nation dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease—the leading cause of death among women.

Building on her advocacy work, Danielle took center stage in 2024 as a panelist at the Partnership to Advance Cardiovascular Health (PACH) Annual Meeting. She shared her personal story and insights, furthering critical conversations around improving care and outcomes for women living with heart disease. Her role as a panelist solidified her position as a trusted voice in the fight for women’s health equity.

Looking ahead in 2025, Danielle will bring her passion for advocacy to Capitol Hill, where she will join WomenHeart and other leaders in championing policies that prioritize women’s cardiovascular health. Through her public speaking, outreach initiatives, and role as a WomenHeart Champion, Danielle has made it her mission to empower women to take control of their heart health, embrace lifestyle changes, and feel supported every step of the way. She is dedicated to helping others see the strength in their stories and inspiring them to advocate for their own health and wellbeing.
