Obesity is a complex, chronic disease with implications for employee health, workforce experience, and health care costs. As employers consider how best to respond, they are navigating evolving treatment options, benefit design questions, and the needs of employees living with obesity. Drawing on new employer research and perspectives from a patient, provider, and employer, this session will explore the factors shaping coverage decisions, the role comprehensive obesity care can play, and practical approaches employers can consider both within their benefits and across the workplace.
