Jennifer is Founder of Value of Being LLC whose mission is to advance and promote rapid innovation in the mental health and population health industries to increase individual and workplace health, shorten the journey to care for all who struggle with symptoms of low emotional health and increase access to effective treatment.
During her career, Jennifer’s passion has been centered on creating and implementing outcome-driven programs to effect positive change for a variety of client populations. As Director of Wellness at the Cleveland Clinic she was the lead clinician and author of Cleveland Clinic’s Stress Free Now and Stress Free Now for Healers programs. The Stress Free Now programs are Cleveland Clinic’s highly successful eCoaching mindfulness - based stress reduction programs proven to reduce perceived stress and increase emotional wellbeing. Jennifer worked with clinical and business leaders to develop a business case for investing in population health efforts and worked closely with large self-funded employers to implement evidenced-based population health strategies that demonstrated a return on investment through decreased inpatient and emergency department spend. Additionally, Ms. Hunter developed and grew Lifestyle EAP, a global EAP designed to drive clinical outcomes in the field of employee assistance.
Jennifer is trained as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Substance Abuse Professional. She is a published research author and has worked as an individual therapist for over 20 years with a focus on stress reduction, anxiety and depression. She has developed and facilitated seminars on a wide range of topics, including Leadership Development, Client Directed Outcome Informed Therapy, Principles of Behavior Change and Stress Reduction. Jennifer obtained her Masters Degree at Cleveland State University and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Bowling Green State University.
