Judy serves as the Director of Membership Initiatives for Midwest Business Group on Health. In this role she is responsible for member recruitment and retention and oversees MBGH grant programs to improve cost, quality and safety in the health care marketplace. Judy serves as the Leapfrog Group Regional Leader for Illinois, encouraging participation from all hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers to report their safety & quality information. Judy has a special passion for diabetes management and leads several ongoing projects in this area. She recently acquired certification as an AADE Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach. Judy joined MBGH in 2017 after serving on MBGH’s Board of Directors for nine years. Previously, Judy was Health & Welfare Manager for a large manufacturer for 13 years where she was responsible for strategy, design and communications of all health and welfare benefits for active and retired employees throughout the U.S. Prior to that she worked on the health plan side in account management. Judy is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist with both Group Benefits Associate and Retirement Plans Associate designations.
