Gina Trignani, M.S., R.D., L.D.N., is the Director for Training and Capacity Building at Health Promotion Council. She contributes over 30 years of industry experience with an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Drexel University and graduate studies in Public Health Management and Administration from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her career spans the academic health care setting at the former Medical College of Pennsylvania to public health practice at Health Promotion Council, a subsidiary of Public Health Management Corporation, Pennsylvania’s Public Health Institute. She has worked across sectors to bridge the benefits of evidence-based chronic disease management and prevention for individuals, heath care systems, health plans and employers of all sizes to impact health, economic and quality outcomes. Partnering with local, statewide and national partners in the provision of direct services, technical assistance, and thought leadership informing policy and systems change, she oversees a portfolio of funding directed to increasing sustainability of and access to evidence-based programs, especially for high risk and underserved populations, through innovative solutions and partnerships to close the gap between community and clinical integration and payment solutions for these programs.
Ms. Trignani has been an active and engaged member of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health and is honored to present behalf our collaborative partnership that includes the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors, MedWorks Consulting, Resources for Human Development in the delivery of Walk With Ease from the Arthritis Foundation.
