Brian Peltz is an experienced healthcare leader who serves as Area Vice President of business development for Tabula Rasa HealthCare focusing on medication risk reduction strategies for government programs. He established Peltz Professional Consultants, LLC to help organizations identify opportunities for growth and improvement, develop market strategy, and improve business performance. Brian has also served as Managing Principal for the Government Programs & Services division of MedImpact Healthcare Systems, where he was responsible for the operations of the Medicaid and Marketplace lines of business. This included setting strategic direction; financial forecasting and budgeting; oversight of support teams; and client-facing subject matter experts, sales, and marketing activities. He developed and served as Chair of the organization’s Drug Use Review Board.
Brian has over 35 years of experience in hospital and health system administration, pharmacy practice, and managed care. Brian has served as the senior executive of three Detroit area hospitals representing acute care, long term acute care, specialty surgical, and ambulatory surgery. He is the past Director of Pharmacy at Meridian Health Plan (Health Plan of Michigan), where he was the responsible for the strategy and build of their PBM product, MeridianRx. Brian was also Director of Pharmacy for government programs at Health Alliance Plan, where he oversaw pharmacy operations at HAP Midwest Health Plan, and was also Vice President of clinical services, overseeing operations of Medicaid, Medicare, and dual eligible lines of business. He has also held pharmacy leadership roles in health system, long-term care, and retail markets.
