Alan Oglesby, MPH, is a Senior Director of Health Outcomes Research at ViiV Healthcare. He has over 20 years of experience in health economics and outcomes research and has authored over 40 peer review manuscripts and 90 abstracts across a variety of therapeutic areas including HIV, oncology, lupus, diabetes, and women's health issues. Prior to this, Alan a trained epidemiologist, directed the Communicable Disease Surveillance Unit for the Indiana State Department of Health for 6 years. Alan received his Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from Emory University. Alan resides in Wake Forest, North Carolina, with his wife and is currently acclimating to life as an empty-nester as his two children are away at college.
