Dan Shields, VP, Ochsner Health - Dan is responsible for the national expansion of Ochsner Health’s Connected Health suite of solutions. Working closely with employers, payors and consultants, his team’s mission is to give members access to center of excellence level care for acute and chronic needs anywhere in the country. Dan brings over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources and Population Health space. Prior to joining Ochsner, Dan spent 12 years at Health Advocate, a company founded by former Aetna executives to help Americans navigate the healthcare system. Prior roles have included the creation and promotion of programs across the care continuum including preventive care, chronic condition care, and mental health.
