Teagan Maier-Downing, H.BSc., M.Biotech, is an Associate Director of Market Access at Ferring Pharmaceuticals and serves as Vice President of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association in Toronto, Canada. She has over a decade of experience focused on improving patient access to medicines and care. A passionate advocate for fertility access, Teagan has worked with patient groups, government officials, and benefits leaders to advance women’s health and fertility policies across Canada. Over the past year and a half in the U.S., she has continued this work by engaging payer and employer audiences in dialogue around improving access to fertility care through Ferring’s Fertility Benefits Initiative.
